Maratón en apoyo al atleta cusqueño Zendio Daza Huarcaya

El sábado 3 de febrero por las calles del distrito de Miraflores se desarrollará la carrera “trote de fe y la vida”, que permitirá recaudar fondos en beneficio del atleta cusqueño Zendio Daza Huarcaya, quien se encuentra postrado en una cama del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas (INEN) luchando por una penosa enfermedad.

Zendio, quien ostenta varios títulos en el atletismo para el Perú, se prepara para la carrera más importante de su vida.
Su familia, compañeros de competencias y todos los maratonistas del Perú  organizan un “trote por la fe y la vida”.
El evento deportivo se llevará a cabo el 3 de febrero, a partir de las 08:00 horas. La partirá será en el parque la Pera del Amor (cruce de Av. Salaverry con Av. Ejército) y concluirá en el faro del parque Raymondi (malecón Cisneros, Miraflores).
Zendio, desde los 14 años, se preparó para ser un deportista competitivo y se sometió a exigentes entrenamientos que le valieron para representar al Perú.
En marzo del 2017 ganó, en Uganda, el Campeonato Mundial de Cross Country. En sus registros también destaca el subcampeonato en el Sudamericano de Trail (carrera de montaña), en noviembre del 2017 en Argentina.
Ostenta el título de campeón nacional de Trail Running de los Andes Race, En la actualidad forma parte del equipo peruano que entrena en Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CEAR) del Cusco.
Los médicos señalan que su enfermedad requiere de tratamiento especializado: comprende transfusiones de sangre y plaquetas, que demanda un alto costo que su familia no está en condiciones de solventar.
El padre del atleta, Wilbert Daza Valdiglesias, quien lo acompaña en su lecho de dolor, convoca la solidaridad de todos para superar tan difícil situación y lograr el tratamiento del exponente nacional.
Las inscripciones se pueden realizar de manera virtual mediante contacto@ctv.pe. El costo es voluntario en la cuenta de ahorros del Banco de la Nación 04173510727 (conservar voucher). También pueden inscribirse en el lugar de la partida, donde estarán los familiares del deportista.
